We did the buffet so we didn't have much need for table service.

When we arrived there was no customer, we all ordered without issues. They took forever to bring the food, all ordered c... When we arrived there was no customer, we all ordered without issues. They took forever to bring the food, all ordered came out except 2 that took even longer. Then the waiter came and told one of the people waiting they didn’t have what they had ordered, they ordered something else and they told her the same thing, they were out. 3 times that happened, when finally the person ordered something they had, it was uncooked, the person ended up not eating. The others persons food arrived after all of that happened, most of us where done eating. The order was wrong, that person ended up not eating either. It was a party of 10+ and we were all missing something from what we had ordered. Their excuse they were busy in the kitchen, even though when we arrived there were only two other tables and they were already served. There is not customer service and they really don’t care about their business, a restaurant that is well known and has no supplies to deliver the menu. It was the worst service we’ve ever received. Definitely not going back. I think it would be better to order to go. But I don’t think any of the people want to go back. Read more Read less

We ordered chicken empanadas, I’m not sure what was in the empanadas, but it did not taste you know I have the consistency of chicken. We ordered chicken with onions, there was absolutely no seasoning on the chicken. And the onions and peppers had a burnt taste. However, the rice and red beans were good. Please note the Dominican on the name. If you like that creole type of food, this place is authentic.

We weren't greeted when we entered the restaurant. There was no sign to direct us to seat ourselves or hostess to show us to our table. Our server didn't seem knowledgeable of the menu options and wasn't prepared to offered any suggestions when we asked. We weren't sure if she was new or if there was a language barrier. When we asked for salsa, she brought over hot sauce instead. She didn't come over to check on us very often, either. We ordered a shrimp quesadilla for an appetizer. It was decent & it didn't take long for it to arrive after we ordered it. I ordered their Mexican Fajitas, which apparently didn't come with any tortillas. That was a first for me. My wife ordered their Ropa Vieja. She said it was ok, but it didn't taste as well seasoned & slow-cooked as it does at other restaurants that we've been to in the past. When it was time to pay our check, the server directed me to go over and pay it at the bar. When I got to the bar, the bartender ignored me until my server finally prompted her to assist me. Overall, the majority of the restaurant staff weren't very hospitable or customer service oriented.
